Universal test station for semi-automatic test procedure handed over to customers

 

Semi-automatic test system for individual inspection of IPC power converters supplied and handed over to customers. With the computer-controlled safety test system, all kinds of power converters produced by a leading German provider of electronic temperature regulators, recording and programming devices will be subject to an inspection.

The system consists of an Elabo system rack 19"/20HE, an external test cage with integrated telescopic slide and an Elabo-TaMas assembly table.

The system provides electrical safety testing of the protective conductor resistance, isolation resistance, dielectric strength (HV DC/AC) as well as flow and resistance measurement. The tests take place according to VDE0113 and/or the IEC guidelines in accordance with EN60204, part 1.
The tests can take place on up to 12 test points. Commissioning of the test points is freely definable in the inspection plan. The system is integrated into a 19" / 20HE rack. All inspection, measuring and switching components of the test system are installed in the rack. There is a special safety test cage to be connected to the device undergoing testing. The test system is 100% computer-controlled. The computer is integrated into the monitor on the system rack. The system is operated using a menu system that provides easy operation for the user. The name of the tester and his/her password is requested upon system start-up in order to protect against unauthorised use.
By creating your own inspection plans, the test system can be adjusted in order to test new or modified products. The devices’ parameters are freely definable within assigned limits.

For this system, the basic module of the PC compact tester 91-6G and the options 01, 02, 03, 04 and 08 were selected from the Elabo standard device testing program and configured to fit the customer’s requirements.

Like the other tests, the protective conductor inspection takes place 100% automatically via the special PE contacts in the test cage.

All other tests take place 100% automatically or after closing the protective cover on the test cage.

Output voltage max. 10 V
Pre-selectable test current 10, 15, 20, 25 A
Maximum protective conductor resistance Rmax adjustable (0 - 350 mOhm)

Protective conductor resistance measurement using 91-6G Option-02:
Test voltage 500 V / 1000V DC
Test current < 3mA
Measuring range 0 - 10 / 100 Mohm
The Rmin threshold value for error assessment is defined in the inspection plan.

High-voltage testing using 91-6G option – 03:
High voltage 0 - 5000 V AC ungrounded
Release current from 0 – 100 mA adjustable
Programmable start-up/shut-down (ramp mode)
The Imin / Imax threshold value for error assessment is defined in the inspection plan.

High-voltage testing using 91-6G option – 04:
High voltage 0 - 6000 V DC ungrounded
Release current from 0 – 5 mA adjustable
Programmable start-up/shut-down (ramp mode)
The Imin / Imax threshold value for error assessment is defined in the inspection plan.

Flow and resistance measurement using 91-6G option – 08:
Test voltage approx. 24VDC
Measuring range 5 – 5000 Ohm
The Rmax threshold value for error assessment is defined in the inspection plan
